From innovative profiles…
Of central importance to our flexible systems are the Cobra and Concavex patented profiles for round drywall, solutions that are unique on the market and selected by top international distributors for their engineering excellence. With these two flexible profiles, the creation of a curved surface using plasterboard becomes an operation that can be accomplished in three easy steps.
1.
Marking and Shaping
When creating surfaces with curved plasterboard panels, the first step is to mark out the desired curve accurately. The line traced in this way will serve as a guide when shaping the flexible profile for the curved plasterboard, ensuring that it matches the required contours exactly.
2.
Aligning and Fixing
Once the profiles have been bent to shape, they must be aligned along the curve marked previously. Thanks to the numerous fixing points distributed along the entire perimeter of the frame structure, every section of the profile can be positioned exactly and anchored securely. This ensures that the curved surface stays in place uniformly and durably over time.
3.
Fitting and finishing
With the profiles securely in place, the curved plasterboard panels can be offered to the assembled frame structure. Once the panels have been positioned as required, the curved surface is ready to receive the selected finish. Various options are available — plasterwork, claddings of stone, wood or other decor materials — whatever will give the desired appearance.
